Coaxial surge protector uses gas discharge tube technology for broadband RF surge protection from DC to 2.5 GHz. The 50 Ω device has TNC jack interfaces on protected and unprotected ports with MH25 bulkhead mounting. Typical RF performance includes at least 20 dB return loss, no more than 0.2 dB insertion loss, and up to 150 W CW power handling. It handles 30 kA single surge current and is rated for IP65 operation from -40 °C to 85 °C.
