Slim-line coaxial surge protector provides gas-discharge-tube protection for electronic equipment connected to coaxial lines. The 50 ohm inline device operates from DC to 5.8 GHz and supports simultaneous RF, data, and DC transmission. It uses an SMA plug on the unprotected port and an SMA jack on the protected port with MH3 bulkhead mounting. The protector is rated for 60 W CW power, 48 V DC supply, 2 A DC current, and operation from -40 °C to 85 °C. Material compliance includes RoHS compliance with exemption and REACH Article 33 SVHC content reporting for lead.
