High-speed silicon-gate CMOS logic device containing a four-bit by sixteen-word asynchronous FIFO register with data-in ready (DIR) and data-out ready (DOR) status outputs. Words are accepted whenever space is available and ripple toward the three-state outputs as the FIFO unloads. It operates from a 2V to 6V supply and supports a maximum FIFO rate of 15MHz at 4.5V. The device provides high noise immunity with NIL and NIH equal to 30% of VCC and is functional across a -55C to 125C temperature range.
