SEMPER gas discharge tube provides 230 V DC sparkover protection with a self-extinguisher and holder included. The device supports impulse sparkover ratings of 450 V at 100 V/µs and 675 V at 1000 V/µs, with insulation resistance greater than 10 GΩ at 100 V. Electrical characteristics include capacitance below 1 pF at 1 MHz, approximate 70 V glow voltage, and approximate 10 V arc voltage above 1 A. The brass housing uses SUCOPLATE plating, weighs 13.7 g, and operates from -20 °C to 85 °C with IP66 and IP68 ingress protection when unmated.
