Coaxial surge protector device uses slim in-line gas discharge tube technology for RF, data, and DC transmission on coaxial lines. It provides 50 ohm impedance, broadband operation from DC to 4 GHz, typical return loss of at least 20 dB, and typical insertion loss of 0.2 dB or less. The device has an N male unprotected port, an N female protected port, MH24 bulkhead mounting, and IP68 ingress protection. It operates from -40 °C to 85 °C and supports 10 kA single or 5 kA multiple surge current handling with an 8/20 µs pulse.
