Coaxial surge protector uses gas-discharge-tube technology for general RF applications from DC to 3 GHz. The 50 ohm device has N jack female connectors on the protected and unprotected ports and supports MH170 bulkhead mounting. Typical RF performance includes at least 20 dB return loss, no more than 0.3 dB insertion loss, and up to 150 W continuous-wave power. It handles 30 kA single and 20 kA multiple surge current test pulses, operates from -40 °C to 85 °C, and carries IP67 ingress protection. The device is RoHS compliant with exemption 6c, and the replaceable gas tube is not included.
