The 8502B is a 300 W programmable DC electronic load within the 8500B Series. It is designed for testing and evaluating DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays. The unit features transient mode speeds up to 10 kHz in CC mode and a 16-bit measurement system with 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA resolution. It supports CC, CV, CR, and CW operating modes and includes a CR-LED mode to simulate LED loading behavior. Protection features include OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, and reverse voltage protection.
