The Weidmüller PU II 2+1R 1000V DC is a Class II surge protection device designed for low-voltage consumer installations and electronic devices. It offers protection against surge voltages caused by atmospheric discharges (thunderstorms) or switching operations (transients). This model, part of the PU-Series, is specifically tested for photovoltaic systems on the DC side up to 1000V and includes a telecommunication contact. It complies with IEC 61643-1:05-03 (2nd Ed) for Class II and Class III, and EN 61643-11_02 + prA11:2005 for Type 2 and Type 3.
