3M Electrically Conductive Adhesive Transfer Tape 9703 is a 2 mil thick, pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape with anisotropic (Z-axis) electrical conductivity. It is filled with silver conductive particles that allow electrical connection through the tape thickness while remaining electrically insulating in the X-Y plane. It is designed for EMI shielding, grounding, and bonding medium-pitch flexible circuits to PCBs or LCD screens without shorting adjacent circuitry. The acrylic adhesive offers low outgassing and high adhesion to substrates like copper, gold, FR-4 epoxy, and stainless steel.
