EPDM protective gasket is used with the C-1044-2 stainless-steel ring latch to reduce electrolytic corrosion when the latch is installed on an aluminum enclosure. The compatible latch family uses an adjustable latch resistance screw and a lever that stops at about 60 degrees when raised. The gasket is identified with Takigen code 23020 and is RoHS-compliant. The associated C-1044 latch series is intended for ships, specially equipped vehicles, and environmental equipment.
