The E4560-series module is a 10 Gb/s electroabsorptive-modulated laser for DWDM and TDM fiber-optic transmission. It integrates a CW laser and electroabsorptive modulator with a thermoelectric cooler, thermistor, rear-facet monitor photodiode, and optical isolator in a 7-pin package. The E4560H31 ordering code specifies a 1552.52 nm ITU wavelength with a 193.1 THz frequency code and ST optical connector. The module supports up to 12.5 Gb/s operation and is specified for links up to 40 km with 800 ps/nm dispersion.
