The Digi EX12 LTE cellular extender is an affordable, scalable failover solution designed to retrofit infrastructure for cellular network access. It features an embedded LTE Cat 4 cellular modem with dual SIM slots to ensure uninterrupted primary or backup connectivity by automatically switching carriers if the primary connection fails. The device includes two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and one RS-232 serial port (RJ-45) for out-of-band management. The EX12-R004-OUS model comes with the Digi 360 solution (1-year subscription), a remote mounting kit including a site survey battery, passive PoE injector, power supply, antennas, and mounting accessories. It is compatible with any dual-WAN networking appliance and is centrally managed via Digi Remote Manager.
