Single-channel DC-sensing phototransistor optocoupler uses a gallium arsenide infrared LED optically coupled to a phototransistor in a stretched-body SOP 4-pin package. The device provides 5000 VACRMS input-to-output isolation and supports at least 8 mm creepage and clearance with at least 0.4 mm insulation distance. The FODM1009 transfer-ratio bin is rated for 200% to 400% CTR at 5 mA forward current and 5 V collector-emitter voltage. It operates across an extended industrial temperature range from -40°C to 110°C and has a minimum 70 V collector-emitter breakdown voltage.
