The FTL4C1QE3C is a third-generation QSFP+ transceiver module designed for 40 Gigabit Ethernet links over up to 10km of single-mode fiber (SMF). It utilizes an uncooled 4x10Gb/s CWDM DFB transmitter array and a PIN photodiode receiver. The module is hot-pluggable and features an XLPPI electrical interface with duplex LC receptacles. It operates on a single 3.3V power supply with a power dissipation of less than 3.5W. Digital diagnostic monitoring functions are integrated and available via an I2C interface as specified by the QSFP+ MSA.
