Wavelength-monitor integrated DFB laser diode module emits in the 1.55 µm band with a 1541.35 nm selected central wavelength. The module uses a polarization-maintaining fiber pigtail, built-in optical isolator, thermoelectric cooler, and dual photodiodes for wavelength and optical output monitoring. It is intended for CW light-source operation with external modulators in 2.5 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s Dense-WDM optical communication systems. The butterfly-packaged module supports up to 10 mW operating optical output with a maximum 100 mA operating current and operates over a -20 °C to 70 °C case temperature range.
