The HAL 2455 is a high-precision programmable linear Hall-effect sensor with a PWM output, part of the HAL 24xy family. It provides an output signal proportional to the magnetic flux density perpendicular to the package surface. The device features 16 setpoints for arbitrary output characteristics, a temperature-compensated Hall plate with spinning-current offset compensation, and internal digital signal processing. It includes wire-break detection, overvoltage, and reverse-voltage protection at all pins, making it suitable for demanding automotive and industrial applications.
