Four-character alphanumeric LED display uses a 5 x 7 dot-matrix format in a 12-pin dual-in-line package. The high-efficiency red display has a 5.0 mm character height and 4.9 mm character spacing. Its internal circuitry includes a 28-bit serial-in/parallel-out shift register with constant-current LED row drivers for TTL-compatible display control. The high-efficiency red LED output has a 635 nm peak wavelength, and the family operates over a -20°C to +85°C free-air temperature range.
