The IQS550 is a projected capacitive touch and proximity trackpad/touchscreen controller implementation on the IQS5XX platform. It features multi-touch support for up to 5 fingers, proximity detection, and a built-in bootloader (indicated by the -BL suffix) for firmware upgrades. The device utilizes high sensitivity and a high signal-to-noise ratio with automatic tuning of electrodes (ATI). It includes an internal voltage regulator, on-chip noise suppression, and supports both event and streaming modes of operation.
