The LM2758 is an integrated low-noise, high-current switched capacitor DC-DC converter with a regulated current sink capable of driving loads up to 700 mA. It utilizes adaptive 1x and 1.5x gains to maximize efficiency based on LED forward voltage. The device includes internal time-out circuitry to limit flash duration to typically 814 ms, protecting the LED and the device from prolonged overcurrent. It requires only four capacitors and one external resistor for a complete solution.
