The LM3402 is a monolithic switching regulator designed to deliver constant currents to high power LEDs. It contains a high-side N-channel MOSFET switch with a typical current limit of 735 mA. Using hysteretic control with a controlled on-time, the device allows the converter output voltage to adjust as needed to deliver a constant current to series or series-parallel LED arrays. It supports PWM dimming, low-power shutdown, and thermal shutdown protection.
