The LM3414 is a 1-A, 60-W common anode-capable constant current buck LED driver designed to drive single strings of high-brightness LEDs (HBLEDs). It operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 42V and features an integrated low-side N-channel MOSFET. The device uses a proprietary Pulse-Level-Modulation (PLM) control method to provide true average LED current regulation with ±3% accuracy without the need for an external current-sensing resistor or loop compensation network. It supports both PWM and analog dimming, as well as thermal fold-back functions.
