The LM3421 is a versatile high-voltage N-channel MOSFET controller for LED drivers. It can be configured in buck, boost, buck-boost (ground-referenced), and SEPIC topologies. It features an adjustable high-side current sense voltage for tight LED current regulation and uses predictive off-time (PRO) control to ease loop compensation while providing input voltage feed-forward. The device includes a high-voltage startup regulator and supports PWM and analog dimming.
