The LM3519 is a high-frequency boost converter designed to drive up to 4 white LEDs in series with a constant current of 20mA. It operates with a wide input voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V and utilizes a proprietary PFM regulation architecture that achieves switching frequencies between 2MHz and 8MHz. This high frequency allows for the use of tiny external components, including 1µH to 3.3µH inductors and 1µF output capacitors.
