The LM3530 is a current mode boost converter that supplies power and controls the current for up to 11 series white LEDs. It features an 839-mA current limit and a 2.7-V to 5.5-V input voltage range. The device includes two Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) inputs with programmable internal voltage setting resistors and an I2C-compatible interface for brightness control with 127 current steps and 8 maximum LED current levels.
