The LM3631 is a highly integrated one-chip solution for mobile device LCD backlighting and bias power. It features a high-efficiency backlight LED driver capable of driving up to two strings of 8 LEDs (16 LEDs total) with up to 29V output, alongside programmable positive (+4V to +6V) and negative (-4V to -6V) bias supplies. It also includes two additional programmable LDO regulators (up to 50mA and 80mA) to power display controllers or gamma references. The device supports 11-bit linear or exponential dimming and is controlled via an I2C compatible interface.
