The LP5009 is a 9-channel constant-current sink LED driver designed for RGB LED applications. It features integrated color mixing and brightness control with 12-bit, 29-kHz PWM generators per channel to eliminate audible noise. The device includes an automatic power-saving mode that reduces quiescent current to 10 µA and a shutdown mode that draws 1 µA. It supports a 3-phase PWM phase-shifting scheme to reduce input power budget peaks and provides independent brightness and color control registers to simplify software coding.
