The LP5812 is a highly integrated 4 x 3 matrix RGB LED driver featuring a Time-Cross-Multiplexing (TCM) topology that allows it to drive up to 12 individual LEDs or 4 RGB LEDs using only 4 output pins. It includes 4 high-precision constant current sinks with adjustable 0.1mA to 51mA output, 8-bit PWM dimming at 24kHz to avoid audible noise, and an autonomous animation engine to reduce MCU real-time loading. The device operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply and is designed for ultra-low power consumption with a typical active current of 0.4mA.
