The LP5861 is a high-performance, 18-channel constant current LED driver designed for RGB LED applications. It supports both analog dimming via 8-bit dot current control and PWM dimming with 8-bit or 16-bit resolution. The device features an integrated matrix configuration capable of driving up to 198 LED dots when used with external scan switches (LP5861T version) or 18 dots in direct drive mode. It includes ghost-cancellation circuitry, open/short LED detection, and ultra-low power consumption modes including a 2µA shutdown state.
