The LP5891-Q1 is a highly integrated, AEC-Q100 qualified common-cathode LED matrix driver featuring 48 constant current sources and 16 scanning FETs. It supports 1 to 64 multiplexing and is designed for automotive applications such as interior lighting, rear lights, and local dimming backlights. The device utilizes a High speed Continuous Clock Series Interface (CCSI) with a 50-MHz SCLK and includes integrated SRAM for reduced data traffic. It features advanced LED diagnostics for open, weak-short, and short circuits, as well as ghosting removal and low grayscale enhancement algorithms.
