The LP8556 is a white-LED driver featuring an asynchronous boost converter and six high-precision current sinks. It supports a boost switch input voltage range of 2.7 V to 36 V and an output range of 7 V to 43 V. The device features integrated 0.19-Ω power MOSFET, three selectable switching frequencies (312 kHz, 625 kHz, and 1250 kHz), and supports PWM and I2C brightness control with up to 15-bit resolution. It includes adaptive dimming and phase-shift PWM mode to reduce audible noise and improve efficiency.
