The LP8864S-Q1 is an automotive-grade high-efficiency LED driver with a boost controller. It features four high-precision current sinks that can support up to 150 mA per channel. The device supports boost or SEPIC topologies and includes an I2C interface for flexible configuration of PWM dimming, phase shifting, and diagnostic features. It is designed to operate from a vehicle battery with an input voltage range of 3 V to 48 V and includes comprehensive fault detection for LED open, short to ground, and shorted LED strings.
