The LP8868V-Q1 is a highly integrated, non-synchronous multi-topology LED driver designed for automotive applications. It features an integrated 5.2A, 150mΩ low-side NMOS switch and supports buck, buck-boost, and boost topologies. The device operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 65V and supports four dimming options: analog, PWM, hybrid, and flexible dimming with a 256:1 analog dimming ratio and 150ns fast PWM pulse width. It includes spread spectrum for EMI reduction and extensive protection features such as LED open/short protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal foldback.
