The LP8868-Q1 family is an automotive-grade, non-synchronous multi-topology LED driver with a wide input range of 4.5 V to 65 V. It integrates a 5.2-A, 150-mΩ low-side NMOS switch and is capable of driving LEDs in buck, buck-boost, and boost topologies. The device supports high-precision power FET dimming, including analog (256:1), fast PWM (150-ns pulse width), and hybrid modes. It features adaptive off-time current mode control for inductive fast dimming (IFD) and includes comprehensive protection such as LED open/short detection and thermal foldback.
