Medium duty NFPA interchangeable tie rod air cylinder uses a 2 inch bore and 6 inch stroke in the NCA1 series. The configuration is a double-acting single-rod cylinder with a male rod stud, MP2 double detachable rear clevis mounting, and no air cushion. It operates with air, requires non-lube service, and is rated for 8 to 250 psi operating pressure. The cylinder operates from 40 to 140 °F with piston speed from 2 to 20 in/s. Aluminum alloy covers and tube, a hard-chromated carbon steel piston rod, and nitrile rubber seals are specified for the standard construction.
