Medium-duty NFPA tie-rod air cylinder uses a double-acting single-rod construction with a magnetic piston for auto-switch sensing. The configured basic mounting style has a 3.25 inch bore and a stroke code expressed in hundredths of an inch. The cylinder operates on air with non-lube service, 8 to 250 psi operating pressure, and a 40 to 140 °F ambient and fluid temperature range. Aluminum alloy covers, an aluminum hard-anodized tube, a hard-chromated carbon-steel piston rod, and nitrile rubber seals are used in the standard construction.
