The nRF21540 is a high-performance RF front-end module (FEM) designed as a range extender for 2.4 GHz wireless protocols, including Bluetooth Low Energy, IEEE 802.15.4, Zigbee, and Thread. It integrates a configurable gain power amplifier (PA) in the transmit path and a low noise amplifier (LNA) in the receive path. It features two antenna ports for antenna diversity support and is designed to work as a complementary device for Nordic's nRF52 and nRF53 Series SoCs to significantly improve link budget and range.
