Infrared thermocouple sensor provides non-contact temperature measurement with a self-powered Type J thermocouple output for standard thermocouple instrumentation. The 260 to 310 °F calibrated range supports ±2% nominal-range accuracy for suitable targets, with ±1% repeatability and 80 ms response time. The sensor operates over a 6.5 to 14 µm spectral band and uses a stainless steel, hermetically encapsulated housing with a silicon window and 2.4 m PFA-coated lead wires.
