The PF523 heat sink from Aavid is a passive thermal management component with a TO-3 package and bolt mount. It is made from anodized aluminium with a natural thermal resistance of 10.1°C/W. When subjected to forced air flow at 100 LFM, the thermal resistance drops to 6°C/W. The heat sink is available in bulk packaging with 500 units per package.
