Rubber air spring mount provides low-frequency vibration and shock isolation for precision equipment, machinery, compressors, fans and test systems. The PLM12 size supports a maximum load of 1212 lb and operates up to 87 PSIG. Pressurized operation provides a 3.0 Hz natural frequency and isolation effects from as low as 5 Hz. The elastomer body also isolates while unpressurized, with a vertical natural frequency around 10 Hz for interfering frequencies above 14 Hz. The mount uses a vulcanized threaded inlet for inflation by a standard tire valve or pneumatic screw attachment.
