The Cinterion PLS8-US Rel.4 is a multi-band LTE Cat 3 wireless module designed for high-speed M2M and IoT applications in North American markets. It utilizes the Qualcomm MDM9215 chipset to provide fallback to HSPA+ and GPRS/EDGE. The module supports GPS/GLONASS GNSS capabilities and features a 156-pin LGA surface mount package. It is designed for demanding industrial environments with an extended temperature range and provides high-speed data connectivity up to 100 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink.
