Precision SMA cable connector mates a straight SMA plug interface to SEMFLEX HP160 cable using a solder-clamp termination. The 50 ohm RF connector supports series performance to 18 GHz and uses extra-heavy gold plating on the center contact with a passivated outer contact. Stainless-steel body and coupling hardware, beryllium-copper contacts, PTFE insulation, PEI bead material, and silicone rubber sealing components are specified. Assembly tightening torque for the clamp nut is 25 to 35 in-lb.
