Gas discharge tube RF surge arrestor provides bi-directional lightning and transient protection for 50-ohm coaxial systems. The device covers DC to 6 GHz with N-type female input and SMA female output connectors in a bulkhead mounting style. It supports 30 W RF power, 5 A through current, and a 90 V rated gas discharge tube. Surge performance includes 20 kA maximum transient capability, 5 kA multiple-strike capability, and 644 Vpk let-through under the specified combination-wave test. The assembly uses brass nickel-plated outer parts, gold-plated BeCu center contacts, PTFE insulation, and a silicone rubber gasket.
