Fixed gas discharge tube RF lightning arrestor protects 50 Ω coaxial lines from transients up to 20 kA with multiple-strike capability. The bulkhead-mounted unit uses N-Type female input and SMA female output connectors, passes DC, and supports bidirectional operation from DC to 2.5 GHz. The 230 V protection-voltage version handles up to 240 W RF power, 5 A through current, 1.25 maximum VSWR, and 0.15 dB maximum insertion loss. Environmental construction includes an elastomer gasket, brass nickel-plated outer parts, BeCu gold-plated center contacts, PTFE insulation, and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +90 °C.
