Gas-discharge-tube RF lightning arrestor provides bidirectional surge protection for 50 ohm TNC coaxial lines. The unit uses a TNC male input and TNC female output with bulkhead mounting, DC pass-through operation, and a 0 to 2.5 GHz frequency range. The 23 voltage-code version has a 230 V turn-on voltage, 240 W maximum RF input power, 65 V maximum operating voltage, and 7.5 A maximum operating current. Surge performance includes 40 kA maximum transient handling on an 8x20 microsecond waveform and multiple-strike capability at 20 kA. Environmental ratings include IP67 unmated ingress protection and operation over a minus 40 to plus 90 degree Celsius temperature range.
