Quarter-wave RF lightning protector provides bi-directional surge protection for broadband wireless, Wi-Fi, telecom and 4G/5G applications. It uses N female bulkhead input and N male output connectors with 50 Ω nominal impedance and DC-block handling. The protector operates from 0.82 GHz to 2.2 GHz with typical VSWR of 1.05 and typical insertion loss of 0.05 dB. It is rated for 1.2 kW average RF power, 4 kW peak RF power, and 60 kA peak maximum transient current. The bulkhead-mount assembly has brass outer parts with Guardplate finish, BeCu gold center contacts, PTFE insulation, silicone rubber gasket, and a -40 °C to +90 °C temperature range.
