A CMOS voltage detector with a delay circuit whose reset delay is set by an external capacitor, housed in a compact SC-82AB surface-mount package. The device detects a 2.7 V threshold with ±2.0% accuracy and a typical hysteresis width of 0.135 V, and provides an N-channel open-drain active-low reset output. It operates over a 0.7 V to 10.0 V supply range while drawing 1.1 µA typical supply current at VDD = 3.5 V, and is rated for -40°C to +85°C ambient temperatures. The device is lead-free and built in a CMOS process.
