This programmable MEMS oscillator provides a factory-set output frequency from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two for low-frequency timing and pulse-per-second operation. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply, supports up to the full -55°C to +85°C temperature range at 1.5 V to 3.63 V, and delivers typical core current of 0.9 µA at 25°C with no load. Frequency tolerance is specified at 20 ppm at 25°C, with stability options up to 100 ppm over -40°C to +85°C and 150 ppm over -55°C to +85°C. The device offers NanoDrive programmable output swing, 48% to 52% duty cycle, 35 ns RMS period jitter, and startup to a valid output within 300 ms plus one period at 25°C. It is intended to replace low-frequency crystal timing elements while eliminating external load capacitors and is specified as Pb-free, RoHS compliant, and REACH compliant.
