This programmable MEMS oscillator provides a factory-set output frequency from 1 Hz to 32.768 kHz in powers of two. It operates from a 1.2 V to 3.63 V supply and is designed for very low current consumption, with 0.9 µA typical core current at 1.8 V and no load. The device offers programmable output swing options including NanoDrive reduced-swing operation and LVCMOS output characteristics with 48% to 52% duty cycle. Its oscillator output removes the need for external load capacitors, and the datasheet specifies 35 ns RMS period jitter and up to 20 ppm frequency tolerance at 25°C.
