Octal transparent D-type latch with 3-state bus-driving outputs designed for highly capacitive or low-impedance loads. While the latch-enable input is high, the Q outputs follow the data inputs, and when LE goes low the outputs latch the established data levels. A buffered output-enable input places the eight outputs in a normal high or low logic state or in a high-impedance state for bus applications. The device operates from a 4.5-V to 5.5-V supply, sources 15 mA, sinks 48 mA, and is specified for 0°C to 70°C operation.
