This ultra-small 32.768 kHz oscillator is designed as a quartz XTAL replacement for battery-powered and mobile applications. It operates from 1.2 V to 3.63 V and supports industrial operation from -40°C to +85°C. Typical core current is 0.90 µA at 1.8 V with no load, and the device provides a factory-programmable NanoDrive output to reduce swing and power consumption. The 2.0 x 1.2 mm package is pin-compatible with 2012 XTAL footprints when used with the recommended solder-pad layout. Frequency tolerance is 20 ppm at 25°C, and frequency stability is specified to 100 ppm over the full -40°C to +85°C range.
